Small businesses are our specialty. We love to help folks who have found their passion and help them succeed. We take the pressure off them in the accounting and tax departments so that they can focus on what brings them happiness and what makes them money. We have been providing services to businesses for 50 year so our experience is a great bonus.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Maceyko was employed by the State Auditor’s office in the Management Advisory Services Department. She has over thirty years of experience in public accounting and is extremely experienced in serving closely held and/or family owned businesses in a variety of industries. These types of entities require special planning and advisory services due to the wide variety of goals of the owners.
Sharon Vickery received her Associates Degree in accounting from Phillips College in Alabama. She is our longest employee having started in 1994. She is an expert with payroll services, sales tax and local taxes and managing every aspect of these areas. She loves her work and assisting her clients. We love her and her slight southern accent and we are sure you will too.
Mike Maceyko received his accounting background from North Central Tech College. He worked for Red Roof Inn in the corporate tax department before deciding to follow his passion of “building things”. He currently operates his own business Maceyko Construction but comes in out of the cold during tax season and is a tax preparer. He has the best of both worlds!
Julie Roth is the newest addition to our staff. She previously worked in the legal/title closing industry for over 25 years. She came to our team in 2012 looking for a new adventure. The accounting and tax business is a great fit and she is a quick study. Her years of working with the public are a great asset and she is looking forward to learning all facets of this business.
Sarah Stuck received her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from The Ohio State University. After working for a few large corporations in Columbus, she took some time off to be a full time Mom. Five years ago we assisted her in completing her taxes and were so impressed with her knowledge and her spread sheets that we offered her a job. She has been with us ever since and is our quick books and accounting specialist. She is known in the office as “our little hummingbird” and she sure adds laughter and excitement to our office.
Michelle Fleming worked as a media specialist/secretary for Marion City Schools for over 18 years. She had also worked for Maceyko Tax part time for 3 years before joining us full time this year. She is Lea Ann’s personal assistant in addition to working customer service at the front desk.
Carla McWilliams joined our staff in 2018 to help out.
Colette Jones joined our staff in 2018.
Lacey Bishop joined our staff in 2011 to help out during tax season and has continued to work all year round to assist Sharon with payroll services. Prior to that, she attended college studying early childhood education and then was employed as a preschool teacher until starting her own family. Being a stay at home mom makes the transition easy to the chaos of a busy office. Her caring attitude and eagerness to learn has certainly been a big asset to our staff.
